I'm Sagar, Co-Founder and CMO at Materna Health. I started this company because I was deeply disappointed in our healthcare system. In my clinical practice, I often spoke with caregivers who lacked true support for their families.

It was heartbreaking to see caregivers not getting the care and education they needed to thrive as parents. Advocating for my patients became a constant frustration. More importantly, I was angry seeing my partner, friends, family, and community face this same lack of integrated postpartum healthcare.

To address this problem, we started Materna Health.

We are a team of culturally diverse individuals who have experienced the pain of inadequate postpartum care. That’s why we’re improving access to integrated clinical teams by building the world’s first platform for intensive and focused postpartum programming and support. Our platform takes the time to truly understand each caregiver -- what support they deserve, what help they need, who they are, and more. This approach provides a focused and holistic shift in how we support caregivers in the 4th trimester.
